The Nimmer family has strong roots in Luxemburg, Wisconsin, located just 15 miles east of Green Bay. Originally founded as Farm Building & Supply by Glenn A. Nimmer in 1956, the name was changed to Forest Construction when his four sons Gary, John, Bob, and Ted took over the company in 1977. The name Forest is a reflection of the four founding owners and how many traditional building materials are derived from trees. It also embodies the broadened scope of construction projects that grew from agricultural to also incorporate commercial, private storage, and residential.
Forest's early projects were simple metal covered post framed sheds while today's projects can span across multiple acres. The company has developed into a vibrant, successful organization providing high quality structures across multiple industries, while still maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
The next generation - Rhett, Reuben, and Aaron - will continue to carry on the traditions and work ethic of their predecessors, while also offering fresh innovation in an ever-changing market.
